Jabari Parker sets his eyes on the top colleges.
The number one high school senior, has been on
fire this season. He has been taking
his skill-set talents on a quest, that could land him in the
National Basketball
Association. Jabari Parker last season, averaged 19.5 points,
8.9
rebounds, 4.9 assists,
3.3 blocks and 1.4 steals per game. Talk about an all-around player. That
type of talent, at this time in his
age is very rare. Derrick Ross, who
plays for the Chicago
Bulls, is Jabari Parker home time hero and mentor. Derrick Ross said, “That he has a
remarkable talent that is very rare.” Jabari is one of the top recruits,
which many schools are
looking for. The top schools that he
has mention, were Duke, Michigan State, Florida,
and
BYU. Parker has yet to say, which school he will attend. Parker has stated, “If Illinois and
DePaul did not making coaching changes; the
schools would have been at the top of his
list.”Jabari has many decisions to make. He has the choice to serve on a
mission or go to
college. He is a Mormon, and will turn 18 years old in March. When you go on a
mission, you
now have to be 18 years old. Jabari is in the driver seat to to his
reality of dreams. Jabari has
what other kids, would die for:two
paths that could lead him to his dream.Watever path
this young man has chosen, he will
impact people around the world.
